Question by NO SHITE SHERLOCK: For any NY Jets fan outhere, how do you feel about this Superbowl? Are you happy the Saints won?
Being a Jets fan and losing to both these teams this year. The Saints in the regular season and the Colts in the AFC Championship game, it was odd watching the game. I wasn’t rooting for anyone in particular more so than watching the Colts lose meaning that the Saints would win.

How do you feel about this Superbowl?

BQ: What changes do the NY Jets need to make to be a dominate force in the AFC?

Best answer:

Answer by Norry
I was going for the Colts all week, but I had an epiffany this morning and made a drastic switch to rooting for the Saints instead. Good for them!

BQ: We need better WRs and a beefed-up secondary.
J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!!

Tim Tebow Hannah Storm Interview: Tebow Is This Generation's Brett Favre

Tim Tebow Hannah Storm Interview: Tebow Is This Generation's Brett Favre
Just like Brett Favre before him, Tebow has become one of the biggest stars in the NFL because of his willingness and ability to be approachable. He is a normal guy. While many fans condemned Favre for the way his career ended, you can't ignore the …

Danica knows Tebow's pain
As sports figures, Tim Tebow and Danica Patrick share one thing in common: polarization. Love them or hate them, there seems to be no in-between, only a tremendous public interest and fierce reaction that doesn't tolerate indifference.

The Brash, the Unconventional and the Talented: Tebow and Newton Shines this Season

With all due respect to Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, the new crop of NFL quarterbacks for this year is perplexingly good. One can clearly state that none of them probably should be distinguished in the same level as the other three stated above. Apart from the fact that they are clearly still figuring everything out being as young as they are, their playing are so distinct from the traditional quarterback play that we see on a weekly basis.

Denver Broncos Tim Tebow and the Carolina Panthers Cameron Newton are making names for themselves and are on their way to making what should be storied careers in the pros. But of course, that comes to with the fact that not everything will be handed to them.

Cameron Newton: Brash as he is Talented

When the Panthers selected Cam Newton 1st overall in the draft this year, they knew what they were getting.

Every team needed to start with a good foundation. And what better way to build a foundation on than a talent at quarterback. What they probably did not expect is the exuding confidence from the 22-year old from Auburn. But nevertheless, he backed it up eventually. And back it up he did.

In a game against the Tampa Bay Bucaneers, Panther quarterback Cameron Newton broke the single season record for rushing touchdowns for a quarterback when he made his 13th successful try during the latter part of the game to close out a team that had been struggling all season long. What is so unbelievable about this is that even though all of the runs were mere one yard gains, it is evident that he is so comfortable taking over the ball when the downs call for it. Along with the runs, Newton made a decent 12 of his 21 passes starting with a touchdown pass to Legedu Naanee for 19 yards. And if that was not enough, Cam Newton even had his first reception as a pro during the game. If this game is a sign of things to come, then all that “rookie brashness” will just be an inkling of a storied career for Newton.

The Tebow Effect

For all the criticism from other players, coaches and fans, Denver Broncos Tim Tebow has stood tall all season long. Ever since taking the starting job from Kyle Orton and presumably Brady Quinn, Tebow has carried the Broncos to five straight wins as the team finds itself leading in the AFC West after a dismal start to the season. Never mind the fact that he clearly cannot run a traditional NFL passing offense, as painfully stated by his own coach. Never mind that his outputs come with inconsistencies, as seen during the cold spell that he had in the 1st half of the Chargers game. Never mind that the online community has made a mockery of his game ritual of kneeling down in one knee and praying and tagging it as “tebowing”. Never mind all that. Tim Tebow, he will eventually get it. For now, it is his will to bring forth the wins that makes him such an intriguing star prospect. And as unconventional as he may be, the thing that we all have to look at the most is how Denver Quarterback Tim Tebow finds a way to win, even if he has to take the ball down the field himself.

And of course, you have to love how much of a class act Denver Quarterback Tim Tebow is. The 24-year old quarterback from Florida is clearly well-groomed and is a great face to a league that has been muddled by controversies and bad behavior from its players off the field. So naysayers and critics alike, keep watching. Time Tebow is here to make a fool of all of you.
