Who has a better overall defense in football? New York Jets or New York Giants?
Question by Justin N: Who has a better overall defense in football? New York Jets or New York Giants?
Who’s defense is batter fantasy wise. I have the New York Jets defense but the Giants defense is out on the market. I need to know whether to pick them up. Whose defense is better OVERALL?

History aside (3 Super Bowls), because that’s not a fair assessment let’s talk about this year. Here are some stats (yes all of you Strong Island Jets fans are going to have to think for a minute) in the first 9 weeks of the 2010 season. Let’s start with Defense, mathematically, who’s better?
Yards per game allowed: GMEN 250 – JETS 307
Rushing yards per game allowed: GMEN 80.9 – JETS 87.4,
Passing YPGA: GMEN 169 – JETS 219.8
Sacks: GMEN 24 – JETS 17.
I don’t think many fans can argue with cold hard facts, ok that’s a lie usually everyone does. Let’s face it the Giants has the best D-Line in the NFL and there linebacker core has been playing better. I’m not going to say that they have a better secondary because that would be stupid, but our secondary definitely has less drama. Give me quiet playmakers any day of the weak over your hot dog holdouts aka Revis Island and Cromartie who has more kids then everyone combined on the Giants Defense.

its WORTH is however much someone is willing to give u.
me personally id say $ 250 but thats coming from a DIEHARD OAKLAND RAIDER FAN so buyer beware.
PS if its on of those “machine autographs” that sports illustrated gives you for suscribing to their magazine then its worth $ 10…….. IF THAT

Well, Elway’s signature alone on a SB XXXIII ball goes for about $ 400-$ 450. I’d imagine it would be worth a lot more with the whole team. Are you sure the signatures are authentic and hand signed? Im sure theres plenty of printed replicas out there.
