Tim Tebow completes the greatest 3 min Comeback in NFL History yet analyst debate for 5 minutes on whether or not he can compete at the NFL level…Tebow makes every throw needed when it counts! Is that enough?..Watch the comeback here, watch the analyst debate, and then give your opinion in the comments For 54 minutes, Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos couldn’t score. Then they couldn’t be stopped. Tebow rallied the Broncos with two touchdown passes in the final 2:44 of the fourth quarter to force overtime, and Matt Prater’s 52-yard field goal gave them an improbable 18-15 victory Sunday over the stunned Miami Dolphins. The Broncos appeared beaten when they trailed 15-0 with 5:23 left and took over at their 20-yard line. At that point Tebow was 4-for-14 for 40 yards. But Tebow led TD drives of 80 and 56 yards sandwiched around a successful onside kick, and he scored a two-point conversion standing up with 17 seconds left to tie the game. In overtime, Denver’s DJ Williams sacked Matt Moore to force a fumble and recovered it at the Miami 36. Three plays later Prater hit the game-winner. The Broncos (2-4) won for the first time in the eight games they’ve played on the Dolphins’ field. Miami (0-6) extended the NFL’s longest losing streak to nine games, leaving the status of embattled coach Tony Sparano even more tenuous. Tebow made his first start of the season after Denver benched Kyle Orton, and for much of the game the Broncos sputtered. As Tebow walked to the sideline …

With Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hobbling for much of the last six weeks and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady now exempt from the festivities (as if he would have gone anyway), many assumed that Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow would be invited to the Pro Bowl, given that he’s the second alternate.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, the first alternate, already has been called up, given that Brady will be getting ready for the Super Bowl. But a league source tells PFT that Roethlisberger will “definitely” make the trip to Hawaii, despite an ankle injury that he first suffered on December 8 — and that he apparently aggravated on multiple occasions.
This means that Tebow’s first Pro Bowl appearance will come next year, at the earliest.
Of course, making the trip and being able to play are two different things. Roethlisberger could realize once he tries to practice that the ankle still isn’t 100 percent. But at least he still gets the free trip to Hawaii.
Tebow, who suffered a rib injury nine days ago in a 45-10 division-round loss to the Patriots, likely would be able to play in the game on short notice, if it comes to that. A source with knowledge of the situation said that doctors told Tebow last week, when Roethlisberger’s status was uncertain, that Tebow should be able to practice for and play in the Pro Bowl.
The Pro Bowl will be televised Sunday night on NBC. Which may explain why we suddenly have more than a cursory interest in it.
